When you are registering for baby items you choose items on your registry for different reasons – budget, lifestyle, color, quality, etc. You also know that not all baby products are created not equal. That’s definitely the case with The Ark & The Plush Pad from Ah Goo Baby.

We asked our new mama Dr. O to review The Ark and The Plush Pad on behalf of all new mamas. This is her story.

When we received the items, it came in a ?x? box. I thought I got the wrong items as there was no way that two changing pads would have fit in there. NO way. My husband opened about the box and pulled out the Plush Pad first, which he liked because he picked out the color. Then he pulled out the Ark. It was folded in half in the box and we thought hopefully that did not ruin the changing pad as we really need one.

We are minimalist household. I don’t like wasting things and buy what we need nothing more. One thing I was big on with our child is not having a lot stuff because we do not have the space as we live in an apartment condo. The Ark fits in the space we created for changing our son. We love the fact that the Ark is a nice pad. The memory foam feels like a cloud. And as a minimalist want to spend money on quality things. At first the changing pad being folded in half in the box scared us. But once it was in the changing space, it was evident that the foam was quality.

The Plush Pad is also made with the same quality foam pad. We love the colors. And right now, we are currently waiting for a diaper bag (a story for another day).  This works when we just have to grab a few things and head out for doctor appointments or visit friends or places that do not have a changing area, which happens more than I thought would happen (especially for dad). Plus, it is easy to find in our bag.

Overall, this family recommends both The Ark and The Plush Pad to any new mama.

That’s the verdict, we love the changing pad and the portable changing pad by Ah Goo Baby.
