Welcome to your first trimester. If you are anything like me, you have morning sickness (or all day sickness). Morning sickness is the unfortunate side effect of growing a beautiful baby. It can be unbearable and bring misery- fact. You can get real relief from morning sickness- fact. Here are 5 remedies that can help you get relief during your first trimester of pregnancy.
Vitamin B6 can relieve a hangover and morning sickness. Bananas, fish and nuts are recommended to your diet to relieve morning sickness because of the vitamin B6. You can take this as a supplement and should talk to your doctor about the recommended a dosage to take as taking too much can cause neuropathy.
Vitamin B6 + Doxylamine
You can vitamin B6 and doxylamine sold separately over the counter or get them combined in a prescription from your doctor. According to the the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), studies have shown that taking a combination of vitamin B6 and the antihistamine doxylamine is effective for symptoms like vomiting or nausea. It’s safe for women and their unborn babies.
Sour Jolly ranchers
I know that sour jolly ranchers sounds weird. But the sucking and the sourness of the jolly ranchers are great for morning sickness. Flavors like lemon and apple have had the most success. So, if peppermints are not working for you, try jolly ranchers.
What are Hi-chews? They are chewable Japanese candy. I don’t know who stumbleupon this but this candy, but I am sure many pregnant mamas are happy for this find. You can find them at Amazon for sure.
