Building a maternity wardrobe is not always an easy task. However, I look forward to Spring weather, I look forward to wearing lighter clothing and walking in the sun and relaxing days ahead. Having the mindset of going back to basics and shedding all the winter weather and blues away and welcoming warmer weather is how to see your maternity wardrobe. All you really need are the necessity pieces and you can add more pieces on later if you prefer or accessorize!
2. Maxi Skirt
3. Boyfriend Jeans
4. Pink Maternity Pants
5. White Tank
6. Black Tank
7. Red Tunic
8. Stripe Tee
Here are some other tips to consider when it comes to your Spring maternity wardrobe —
- When hit your sixth or seventh month of pregnant, go with clothing that accentuate your baby bump. You are carrying the miracle of life, so flaunt it!
- Be You. If you enjoy jeans, there are many maternity jean options and you always grab a BellyBand to make your non-maternity pants fit longer and save some $$. Love dresses, grab more dresses for your spring wardrobe.
- Keep it Simple. Don’t buy too many bright colors or uncomfortable fabrics. You won’t be able to mix and match as easily. Build a wardrobe that can transition into another trimester and even postpartum if needed.
- Accessorize. Accessorize. Accessorize. It does not take much to take a simple outfit to amazing with a few accessory pieces. Don’t underestimate the power of an accessory.
