Target is jumping on the subscription box service and offering a Target Baby Box. We are sharing some the details and answering questions about Target’s new addition and how to get one.

Cat & Jack target

Babies grow like weeds. Parents need to be cloth growing baby. Here is where Target steps in with their new baby box.  The Cat & Jack Baby Outfit Box sells for $40 and includes six to seven clothing items that haven’t yet been released in stores and a surprise gift for babies size newborn to 24 months.

We also wanted to take the time to answer some questions about the Target Baby Box.

How many pieces do you get in a box?

With your box you’ll receive 6–7 pieces that haven’t been released yet on Target Baby.

Is the subscription automatically renewed each month?

A new box will be delivered every season. They automatically send the next size up to match your growing baby with the option to change the sizing before your box ships.

What does the $40 subscription fee go toward? Is the box itself $40 to keep every item or is it a credit that applies toward the box?

The $40 subscription fee can go toward all of the items in the box. You keep what you love and return the rest. Any of the items you do not like you are able to return them for a refund.

When is each new Target Baby Box sent out?

There are no exact dates, but new boxes are sent out quarterly so approximately every three months.

If you are interested in doing a subscription you save 5% and the next box automatically comes in the next size up from your baby’s current size. So, if you start with size 3-6 month, next season your box will bring 6-9 month clothing, growing with your baby.

If you don’t want to subscribe you can still save 5% with your Target REDcard, but you should act fast, because the one-time order boxes go quickly. So order soon mamas!
